- On the wedding day, the groom's family sets off for the girls' house with lots of cheering and dancing. The groom mounts a brightly adorned horse, with the youngest boy of the family and preceded by a crowd of his musical band, friends and relatives.
- The groom and his family are warmly received by the girl's family with the exchange of flower garlands.
- Get up to exchange garlands in the Jaimala ceremony.
- Finally, the most awaited moments begins with the wonderful music of Sehnai.
- The next part is the Saat Phere (7 Vows) that the bride and groom take around the ceremonial fire while taking vows to love and honor each other throughout their lives.
